Content Policy

Lovenium is a place for adult fiction between consenting adult characters. This policy says what is never allowed, in anything you write, in anything a character writes, and in any image. It applies together with the Terms of Service.

1. Never allowed

Minors. No sexual or romantic content involving anyone under 18, or anyone who appears, is described or is role-played as under 18. This includes age-play, "barely legal" framing, school-age settings, childlike bodies or behaviour in a sexual context, and characters that "turn out" to be younger. All characters on Lovenium are adults, and so must be everyone in the scene.

Non-consent. No sexual content without clear, ongoing consent: rape, sexual assault, coercion, blackmail, threats, or sex with someone asleep, unconscious, drugged, intoxicated or otherwise unable to consent. A "no" or "stop" in the story is respected.

Incest. No sexual content between family members, including step-relatives, adoptive and foster relatives, and in-laws presented as family.

Bestiality. No sexual content involving animals or animal-like creatures in a sexual role.

Real people. No sexual content about real, identifiable people: celebrities, public figures, influencers, or anyone you know. Do not use a real person's name, photo or likeness, and do not ask for deepfakes. Characters on Lovenium are fictional.

Other prohibited content.

necrophilia;
sexual content combined with extreme violence, gore, mutilation or torture;
human trafficking or sexual exploitation;
encouraging suicide, self-harm or eating disorders;
terrorism, hate speech, or harassment of real people;
sharing someone's private information or intimate images without consent;
instructions for weapons, drugs or other serious crimes.

2. No workarounds

Do not try to get around these rules: by hints, code words, "hypothetical" framing, claiming a character is "actually 1,000 years old", rewriting a character's age or relationships, or instructions aimed at the AI. Attempts count as violations.

3. How we enforce it

Automated checks. Messages and AI replies are checked automatically. For an image made in a chat, the request is checked before the image is made. Character photos and videos are reviewed by our team before a character is published and before they are used in chat. What is clearly prohibited, such as anything involving minors, is stopped before it is shown: such a message gets no reply and is not kept in the chat, and such a reply is replaced. Other content the checks find is reviewed by our team, who may remove it and act on the account. You see a short notice when your message is stopped.
Human review. Flagged content and reports are reviewed by our team.
Consequences. Depending on how serious a violation is and how often it happens, we may warn you, limit features, suspend or permanently close your account. A message or reply involving minors is blocked at once. If it happens again, the account is suspended until a person reviews it, and we may report it to the authorities.
Our characters follow the same rules. If a reply ever breaks this policy, please report it so we can fix it.

4. Reporting

Report a message from the menu next to it. For an image, a character or anything else, use the report form, which also works without an account. Reports about minors, non-consensual intimate images or your own likeness are handled first: we act on them within 48 hours. Other reports are handled within 7 business days. We may contact you about your report.

5. Appeals

If you think we acted by mistake, write to [email protected] with your account email and what happened. A person reviews every appeal and replies within 7 days.
